Where It Begins
Our manufacturing unit is located in Khunti, Jharkhand One of India’s richest lac-growing regions. Being close to the source means we can assess the quality of raw Sticklac before it ever enters our facility.
Under the direct supervision of Mr. Ganesh Prasad Saraogi and Mr. Vikash Saraogi, every incoming batch is reviewed before processing begins. The quality of the finished product is determined long before it reaches the vat.
How We Work
Every incoming batch of Sticklac is assessed for quality, colour, and resin content. Substandard material is rejected before it enters the processing floor.
Sticklac is crushed, sieved, and repeatedly washed to remove impurities. The process continues until the lac meets our internal purity benchmarks.
Cleaned lac is dried on open-air floors, then winnowed and sieved. Only lac that meets our colour and moisture standards advances to processing.
Each method — hand-made, heat-processed, or solvent-processed — is carried out under strict supervision with continuous monitoring at every stage.
Before dispatch, every finished batch is tested for wax content, colour, acid value, moisture, and impurities. Only passing batches are cleared for packaging.
Finished Shellac is cooled, packed in export-grade packaging, labelled with full traceability details, and transferred to air-conditioned storage.
What We Test
Post-Production
Quality does not end when processing does. How Shellac is stored after production is just as important as how it is made. All finished Shellac is cooled fully before transfer to our shaded, air-conditioned storage facilities.
Proper storage at 14–18°C prevents blocking and preserves the resin quality our buyers rely on, particularly during India’s warmer months.
